Founder's Day (Re-Establishment Day)
On November 8, 1896, Elder William S. Crowdy incorporated the Church of God and Saints of Christ in Emporia, Kansas. On this date, most of the Churches internationally observe a day of thanks and remembrance for the coming of a Prophet in our time. This is not a day to worship a man, nor has it ever been, but a day to thank God for sending a messenger to wake up the children of Israel, His chosen people. On this day, many also take the time to go through the life and works of the Prophet and the teachings he taught us.
